Toyota Encourages Environmental Awareness in Hispanic Community, Partners with Key Influencers

Utilizing key influencers in the Hispanic community and social media, Toyota has launched a new program that will increase environmental awareness and sustainability in the Hispanic community.

A recent press release notes that Hispanic communities across the country are becoming more involved with environmental sustainability and, since that's one of Toyota's key pillars of business, Toyota wants to assist with that by initiating an extensive social media campaign utilizing notable Hispanic influencers like Jon Secada, Chloe Bridges, Julian Gil, Candela Ferro, Ana Flores, Omar Germenos, Daniel Elbittar, Yarel Ramos, Gina Rodriguez and Diana Franco. They will use Twitter and Facebook in a way that "the Hispanic community will be able to follow the lives of the influencers and their adventures with their Toyota Prius, while simultaneously learning tips on how to live a greener lifestyle."

"I am excited about being a part of this campaign because Toyota's commitment to the environment aligns with my lifestyle and values.  The idea of coaching Hispanics on how to make wise environmental choices and live a more sustainable lifestyle is truly fulfilling," said Jon Secada.
