The 2013 Toyota Tacoma won “Best Car for the Money” in the
Best Compact Pickup Truck category and the 2013 Toyota Tundra won “Best Car for
the Money” in the Full Size Pickup Truck category. Both were selected because they
have “the best combination of ownership costs and
positive reviews in [their] class.”
“These awards are a
tribute to our truck engineering and design teams in Michigan, California, and
Japan, and every team member at our Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas plant in
San Antonio, where all Tundra’s and most Tacoma’s are assembled,” says Toyota Division
Group Vice President and General Manager Bill Fay.
