Toyota Prius C is Greenest Car on Road, Entire Prius Family in Top 12

The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) announced its annual list of top 12 greenest cars and the Toyota Prius C is at the top of that list.

The Toyota Prius placed third, Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid placed fourth, and the Toyota Prius V placed eleventh. It should also be noted that the Scion iQ placed ninth.

In a list dominated by hybrid technology, it is impressive that the Toyota Prius C walked away with the prize of this competitive list. One of the things that put the Toyota Prius C over the top was the fact that, in addition to low emissions, it also gets 50 mpg (combined).
