2012 Toyota Camry Crash Test

IIHS Top Safety Pick at Seattle Toyota Dealer

The 2012 Toyota Camry is an IIHS Top Safety Pick.  Here is some of what the IIHS website has to say (LINK):

Test details:

The Toyota Camry was redesigned for the 2012 model year. Frontal ratings are assigned by the Institute based on a test conducted by Toyota as part of frontal crash test verification.
Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. The driver side curtain airbag deployed during the crash. During rebound, the dummy's head contacted the side curtain airbag and the grab handle above the door.
Injury measures — Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity. Head acceleration from the grab handle hit was low.
